My Nan has just laid it on really thick about how upset my DM is at not seeing my DC. She asked how long for and I said months vulnerable DS and DH

According to Nan, it needn't be that long, I should see DM, does it include her and I should be seeing them all. She's upset for DM as she is missing out on such a lovely time that she will never be able to get back.

So upsetting and frustrating. Coupled with the worry that my nan will not listen and will die from this as some people closer to her are also saying it's nothing to worry about. I may not see my nan again and she simply thinks I'm being unreasonable

We can’t always have what we want. I am very upset that I won’t see my 10 month old grandson for months, but that doesn’t mean we should bend the rules.

I’d rather be upset than risk people dying. There’s FaceTime.

I wont be seeing my DM. It's just horrible that nan is trying to make me feel so guilty. I don't feel guilty but I'm going to miss DM and she's wrenching those emotional heart strings more than a little.

Nan is never going to stay in to keep safe. She's 86

Flowers It’s very hard, even without the guilt tripping. Looks like your Nan won’t have anywhere to go now anyway - cafes etc. are to close.

Hopefully...if they stop the buses she'll be stuck. I'm too far away to do anything about it anyway.
