What is missing from your shopping list?

Just been to Aldi, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Lidl.

Got most of what I needed but still missing some key stuff just nosey to see what other people haven't been able to get.

Eggs x12
Wraps
Sausages/meatballs
Naan bread
Vegetable oil
Frozen carrots
Loo roll
Flour
Rice

We have a Tesco, Heron and ASDA close by so I might venture out again later. I am 23wks pg so was hoping to be able to get enough to see us through for the next fortnight so I can stay inside as much as possible.

Pasta (I've ran out completly)
Rice, (only got enough for a couple meals and it's my go to work meal)
Paper towels, (not neccessary but I'm out)
Chicken, (I wanted two, we roast it, then boil the bones for stock and make soup ) So it does a lot of meals.
Gluten free bits for me.
Very daft people out there buying the GF pasta, flour and bread instead of regular, it doesn't cook the same, taste the same, so I can see a lot getting chucked when it would feed me. and others as it's all we can eat.

No toilet paper, kitchen paper, eggs or nappies in my online delivery from supermarket.

I just saw that my tiny local convenience store was doing deliveries so set my mum up with that as she's getting stressed with delivery slots not being available in the big supermarkets. If there's one thing that would result in my mum leaving isolation it's running out of something ridiculous so I'm delighted.

Yes I noticed loads of free from aisles had been ransacked completely.

I could have got organic rapeseed oil in place of sunflower/veg oil but it is literally 5 times the price. We have a little veg oil left and some olive oil so we will just have to make it stretch.

Fancied a pizza tonight, not a chance! Also couldn't get my deodorant. Our supermarkets, which have been pretty normal (minus loo paper and pasta) up until now, had swaths of shelves and freezers without food.
Weirdly Waitrose had a full aisle of loo paper, probably for about a minute

I couldnt get peanut butter!

Can you not use strong flour to make cakes/biscuits etc? Would it make any difference?

We have a jar of pink pasta sauce with herbs because it was the only one left, pleased I don't eat ready made sauces. All the other flavours were gone.

If you can't get frozen carrots but can get hold of fresh ones, you can prepare and blanch, then dry off and freeze for when you can't get any at all.

@Dontcallmeshitley no fresh carrots either!

Our Aldi had big tubs of the meridian style peanut butter if in their wholefoods section if you haven't looked there @KingaRoo

I have a delivery coming tonight.
I’m missing:
Toilet rolls
Coca cola
Tinned tomatoes
Tinned casserole (for my mum)
Paracetamol
Laundry liquid detergent
Baked beans
Frozen chicken
And substitutions -
Macaroni instead of regular pasta
Large panty liners instead of regular
Caramel & chocolate hot x buns instead of regular
Garlic pizza bread instead of garlic baguette
Squishems (?) instead of fruit gums

I think I’ve been quite lucky.

@HairsprayBabe we have fresh carrots but no beer.

We should set up some sort of swap shop

Would probably just spread germs though

Kitchen roll mostly. There is plenty in the local shops and in petrol station garages.

Delivery slots! (I'm housebound) It’s getting really really hard to book any.

Other than that things I’m struggling to find:

Milk
Bread
Couscous
Yogurt
Cleaning stuff of any description
