Losing weight as not eating as much?

I’ve lost 8lb in the last week . I’ve been dieting for ages but never seen weight loss like this .

We’ve cut down to about 700 calories a day to make food last as long as possible - as absolutely no idea when we’ll get more food, we live miles from the bloody shops and reliant on deliveries turning up . Suspect we’ll find that half those deliveries won’t have any food at all . Trying not to touch freezer food or stuff in store cupboard as when it runs out, it runs out .

I’m eating small bowl of cereal and milk, some sort of cereal bar mid morning, a very small lunch and tea and usually a yoghurt . I’m trying to eat more but absolutely no appetite at all - I’m not actually feeling hungry .

For context I’m morbidly obese at 21 stone - 5ft 10 - so am sort of pleased I’m losing but a bit concerned how safe it is for it to come off so quickly ? I’m not feeling dreadful but am noticing some odd things eg ears ring a bit when I stand up at times, and I’m very tired .

Am I best to try and increase food a bit or is it safe to stick with it like this for a while?

I’m amazed you’re getting 3 meals and 2 snacks on 700 calories!

Are you making sure you are meeting your nutritional requirements as much as possible? Could you add around 300 calories. This is so hard for people that can't get food for whatever reason. Is there a local shop that maybe has started deliveries, a farm shop. Sorry if all of this is trite, I have no idea of your situation or what is available to you. If you can possibly, plant some things in a little box, maybe? All things I'm considering, but I'm not rural. I'm going to use a couple of recycling boxes.
Stay safe, and healthy

They’re not proper meals at all -

yesterday had - one fibre bar, fat free yoghurt, two spoons of coronation chicken, 4 cherry tomatoes, cucumber, mini red pepper, spinach and 8 bits of pre cooked chicken . Small portion of crackers and 5 chocolate finger biscuits . So not proper meals by a long shot unfortunately ... I’m just calling them that as makes me feel I am eating something !

I'm trying to eat more to be a better weight in case I'm ill. I'm usually on the bottom end of BMI due to health problems.

However as you say it's hard to eat as I'm worried about having enough in the house. We're a large family with 6 adults and there's not a lot in the shops.
