Kid's writing to elderly neighbours ...
AnotherCoffeePleease · 20/03/2020 09:36
Hello, looking for opinions ...
We have a lot of elderly neighbours in our street - some have family nearby but others don't.
There's one lady who lives alone with no family near and I thought it would a nice idea to get the kids to write her a few letters or draw some pictures for her (and other neighbours) over this period.
Whether they'll appreciate that is another matter 😂 but then I wondered whether that's even a good idea - spreading germs via paper?!?
Appreciate I'm verging on paranoia but is this a risky thing to do? Figured baking them cookies wasn't a good idea but letters should be ok, right?!
