I know social distancing is prime, but I do feel sorry for people in the early stages of romance. (After 39 years of marriage, anything less than 10 is early stages to me) My son, who normally visits his gf every weekend, my mate who shares her time between hers and her bfs, my dd who wants to reconcile with her bf, all the young loves and older ones. It’s so sad.

Yep. My boyfriend was away, landed on Saturday. So I didn’t see him for two weeks and now I’m self isolating as housemate has symptoms. We’ve face timed but it’s not the same.

I agree. I've been seeing my boyfriend for 19 months and we haven't been apart for more than 3 days at a time. Have been messaging and using FaceTime but it really isn't the same. The worst thing for me is not knowing how long it will be until we see each other again 😢

My other son, (who is very shy) said he’d started talking to a woman in the last few weeks and they were planning on their first meet up. No longer. But I guess it gives them more time to chat and get to know each other.
And all the people who can’t go home to loved ones. So sad.
