Should I tell cleaner not to come in?

Just that. We're not isolating completely but are trying to follow guidelines, working from home, wouldn't dream of going to the pub etc. So should I cancel the cleaner? WWYD?

Of course you should cancel but pay them if you can still afford to

I am in vulnerable groupas cronic asthmatic who has been hospitalized and on nebulizer several times last year. My dh is recovering from brain surgery last seek and will be vulnerable for another 5 weeks but we can not manage without cleaner 3 times a week. We will just stay in bedroom while she cleans house leaving her money on table, then come down when she is gone. She washes her hands as soon as she gets there, then is cleaning everything like door handles, light switches and taps with bleach wipes and steam mopping the floors. She also cleans and bleaches loos and cleans kitchen with bleach spray. I think there would be more risk if it was not done. My health is not good, but I do this on days she does not come and some days it causes me a lot of pain. I am also going to allow childs tutor to continue as she has told me the other 3 children she tutors don't want her anymore as no exams to sit now. Dh and I will go to bedroom when she comes. We won't be having any other visitors though for 12 weeks. We will not go out except into garden and to walk dog, dh in morning and me in evening if well enough, if not son will do it.

caring understand re cleaner but couldn't you pay your child's tutor to tutor online? it sounds like you and your DH need to be careful.

We canceled our cleaner but are paying her half.

She takes the train to come to us and does several houses in a day -- that can't be safe.
