My son is besotted with my Mum. She's such a strong figure in his life. She is in the at risk group so is staying in as much as she can.

Broke my heart this morning:

DS: What day is it today Mummy?
Me: Thursday sweetheart
DS: Yes! That means Grandma is picking me up from school!

I had to tell him that no she isn't and he sobbed his heart out.

Also, for the first time in a long time, I felt more than ever that I want my Mum. I just want a cuddle

Could he face-time with her? Perhaps she could read him a bedtime story each night - over the phone, if she can't do face-time.
