Anyone remember that film?

Virus which originated from China? From a bar and pig transmission?

Watched it two days ago with DD.

It's weird how accurate some of it is, but I don't think it really showed the breakdown of society that I imagine would start something like this (arguing in shops), to complete pandemonium when people lose hope.

Yes, it's chilling in how close the storyline is to what is happening now

When I saw it years ago, I said to my husband "Well thank God that will never happen."

I've always been of the opinion that the film is very close to what would actually happen.

DH and I are biological scientists. We watched it years ago and said to each other "Well gosh, that was remarkably scientifically accurate and realistic!"

Not hard to come up with that storyline, not even a coincidence seeing as many pandemic viruses have originated that way or very similar... it's just how it happens.

Its on ITV2 next Thursday. Lovely timing. Gonna make DH watch it to understand just how serious this shit is that we are living through
