Underlying health issue in household

I feel a tad confused about the guidance -

on the one hand if anyone in the house shows symptoms of Cornona we should all go into isolation for 14 days, on the other hand the advice talks about potentially evacuating a person with underlying health (in our case DH gets asthma/chest infections) to another household.

You can't do both of these things at the same time - so which is it?

Give DH a fighting chance if me or DS get it, or risk spreading it to another household as DH could theoretically have it/be asymptomatic?

My brain is officially boggled.
