Surely this can't be allowed. So pissed off that private nurseries are seen as different to any other business and before anyone says you agreed to the terms, they all have the same so you would never be able to put them in nursery, plus ours have changed them on their website to the ones I signed weeks ago. The one I agreed to said any unexpected closure over 3 days would be refunded and fees not expected, but they were unable to provide alternative childcare arrangements. Not it's completely on us apparently.

Surely a 50/50 approach would seem fair in this situation?

Are the terms you signed not binding?

I'm even more shocked at mine. Mine said they are staying open because they are private and not run by the Govt. Im sure they are doing this because they want to find any means to get people to pay because what i understood from the press conference is that " all schools and nurseries should close"

I honestly dont mind paying because im meant to be working from home which would help with the 2 yr old but at the same time..i don't want to leave my kid out when everyone is home??

Apparently not, they are saying to refer to the terms on their website. Which they have changed...
