A question about prescriptions (in the current situation)

It's ages since I have needed any medication personally. Can anyone tell me what happens if someone needs prescribed medication and can't get out? Can someone else collect for them? If so, do they need some form of authorisation?

Asking as I have one elderly neighbour, one who is undergoing radio/chemotherapy, have elderly IL's on repeat prescription and a friend who is self-isolating who has a whole catalogue of necessary meds for physical & mental health.

Normally you just need to confirm their name and address. DH is always picking up my scripts, and now the pre pay is online he doesn't even need to take in that

Yes don't worry I've collected prescriptions for two elderly ladies this week and only needed name and address x

Many thanks.
Was going to put a note through to neighbours, so I shall include that now.
