Every time I open a newspaper I see pictures of people in the UK huddling together outside shops, on streets, waiting for public transport etc like they’re trying to get inside each other’s pockets. I know the population density in some cities is quite high, but they’re often doing it when it’s not even necessary. The guidelines clearly state keeping a distance of 2 meters!!! In Ireland shops/supermarkets already have large signs outside this message, and heavily marked lines on the floor at checkout where people queue enforcing it visually. Why is the UK always so slow to get with it?
