They’re both in the same UK city. What would you do? What should we be considering?

I've got two staying with me because they don't want to go back to London.

Just heard on Radio 4 that people won’t be stopped from coming in and out of London (Telegraph source from Downing Street)
I don’t know whether that helps us make a decision or not? We’d been thinking it was get into London now or stay put but it looks like they could travel down in a few days or weeks time. At the moment one of them has a train ticket for this afternoon, but would have to leave a lot of his possessions up there. Other child has more of a network up there and is in her final year- it would be devastating to leave and not return for months.

DS coming home from Cardiff this weekend and is devastated. Doesn't expect to go back until September at the earliest as everything is online or shutdown completely.
He also has a great network there but won't be able to socialise anyway. Does agency work in a school which is closed from tomorrow and referees football which has all been cancelled.
Rent paid until July when he's due to move into a new house.
We've told him to bring home what he needs for a few weeks (including his houseplants which are his main concern!) then we can go back (300+ miles away) to clear things as the situation becomes clearer.
We'd rather have him home in these very surreal times.
Good luck to your D.C. whatever you all decide.

@choirmumoftwo thank you!
I’ve messaged him to say use the ticket if you want- it might be last chance for a while...
Such a tough call.
