I'm a secondary school teacher and on mat leave. Did a lot of crying at the news yesterday.
I'm desperate to try to do what I can to help in the current situation but don't know how to do it- are there any parents or fellow teachers out there who can make suggestions please? I've already asked my HoD if I can share the burden of answering some student emails and helping with marking work but she is insisting that I enjoy my mat leave and won't give me anything to do.
All my baby classes have been cancelled. I need and want to help. Are there any ways I could help online, or can anyone think of any ways I could help the parents on my street to ease their burden a bit?
