Hello,

my first post. Are there any people with Coronavirus and how are you signing? What is the Job Centre advising you please?

How are Jobseekers signing to claim their JSA? I am dependent on it. I also have a credit card that I repay. I have Anxiety and Depression and my Depression is ok at the moment but I am increasingly anxious. I am trying to be positive and practise Mindfulness and remind myself that at least I am currently free of symptoms and that we are all in the same boat.

thank you for your help.

I’ve got a work focused interview im suppose to end on the 27th not sure how that’s meant to work Confused don’t want to be sanctioned

I was meant to sign on Monday but had a phone call early Monday morning saying they were cancelling my appointment and my money would go through as normal.
Not sure if it is the same in every area or if it's because I'm a type 1 diabetic but pretty sure they will contact you if appointments are being cancelled because of the virus.

Thank you both so much for your reply. I am in East of England I have no idea what's going to happen. I am not sleeping.

PumpkinP but as this CV is not our fault why would you be sanctioned?

Cos the appointments still on as far as I’m aware, not been cancelled. And I don’t intend to go so not sure if that will effect my claim.

I see. I have emailed my advisor as I am really not sure what to do other than I am definitely not using the bus. I wish they could just do it online.

DWP put out a message earlier saying that people will be able to claim UC online without having to visit the job centre in person so I'm guessing the same will apply to people in your situation. The job centres will probably close like everywhere else.

Thank you very much Pilot12. That would make the most sense.
