Getting a bit tired of all these: eg, this one

And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still. And listened more deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently.
"And the people healed. And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal.
"And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed."

I'll just be worried about loved ones getting sick, paying the bills and losing the house.

While I appreciate the sentiments I think that is totally nauseating Shock. And completely dismisses the very real anxieties that so many of us are dealing with right now. I’d hide that person!

Ahh yes.

Reality:

And the people went to the supermarkets and bought all the food; and if they couldn't buy it, they stole it from someone else's trolley or boot; but the 'decent' folk screamed in the faces of anyone buying more than 1 thing.

They holed up in their houses with all their stash and proceeded to use all the wifi with their 11 playstations and other mobile devices. They screamed at their kids to give it a rest. They couldn't be arsed to do board games or other boring educational shit. They preferred to sit on Facebook all day slagging everyone else off.

Then at the end of it they survived and they couldn't give a shit for those that didn't.

The end.

People don't seem to realise that even in the lockdown countries most people continue to go to work. Although they probably don't think it applies to them they will stay home and chill but fully expect their Tesco and Amazon deliveries to arrive and their bins to be emptied.

Misses the fact that a lot of people will be trying to work at home while simultaneously homeschooling kids, not fucking meditating.

I am in a lockdown country and haven't been out for ages. Went out briefly today and things have changed so much in the last few days. I ws one of the few people without a mask. Police were parked on the road, stopping and questioning people. Very few people around and they were all scurrying around, keeping away from everyone else. Honestly, I felt like I was in a film and not a nice one.

I'm trying to juggle feeling poorly and tired from getting over a bug (not sure if it's CV), not sleeping well because of anxiety about the whole situation, home-schooling 9yr old DS and working from home as a Uni administrator along with my DH. I'm trying to give DS alternatives to the PS4 and f*ing DanTDM but have to leave him to it at some point.

DH just ate the last biscuit in the house without warning me. Oh, I might dance alright... I'll dance on his shallow graveAngry before the end of this!!!
