I'm getting so stressed about having to go to work. I'm seeing patients still walking in to reception to pick up prescriptions, using the toilet, I have close contact with GP's and nurses. I have an immunosuppressed child and I just don't know what to do!

Where in the country are you?
All surgeries in our area are closed, telephone triage only, so some minor illness being seen but 10 mins between pt, no one in waiting rooms, prescription requests are to be posted in the letterbox & are being electronically sent to a pharmacy.
It must be terrifying for you!

London!! I think we're the only surgery who hasn't locked it's doors to patients

Oh I really feel for you. DH is immunosuppressed & im not thrilled I have to work but at least the actual surgery is closed. I suppose it depends on if you can afford to SI without pay-I know I can’t.

Is this any help?

If you are self-isolating because of COVID-19: From 13 March, you can now claim SSP. This includes individuals who are caring for people self-isolating in the same household and therefore have been advised to do a household quarantine.
