I live in Wales and people are already whinging. Why don't people realise that school isn't bloody childcare?! Teachers and support staff have a right to stay safe and healthy as well!

What people need to realise is that schools can’t stay open with no staff!! People are ill, sometimes with usual seasonal illness that they would usually go in with but can’t now because of the (absolutely correct) restrictions. Also there are staff with chronic health conditions who now need to be off. All of the schools I know are operating on a tiny number of staff and trying their best to keep open
