37.8 is that underarm or oral temp?

Just that really, underarm temp is generally about 0.5 lower than oral, the only thermometer I have is a digital one which can be used under the arm or in the mouth

Underarm isn't very reliable and can be upto a degree out so I would think they are referring to oral or in ear.
