To take out of nursery?

DH and I have pretty much decided to pull our DS from nursery and cancel his place but I'm hesitating to hand in our notice.
DH is employed full time from home in a hopefully secure job (although he was laid off on the last downturn).
I've been wfh on a new business that's not made any money yet but is growing (at least for now). We pay for 15 hours a month for DS to attend nursery while I work on my new business. It also allows me to get to the gym and have a bit of sanity.
DS has a place at our local school nursery from September when we will get funded hours.
Given the next several months (maybe even year or more) there are likely to be closures it doesn't make sense to hold his place. I know there are people who will come on here and say we should pay it if we can afford it but things are tight as it is on one income and I think I'd rather work around having no childcare than wonder every week if we'll have childcare.
I don't know why I'm hesitating when it doesn't make sense to keep him there. I think the whole situation is surreal. Maybe I should speak to the nursery? What would you do?
