What is going to happen with HMO's?

I am curious on this as I have a friend who lives in one and he is not 100% what to do and he has said he is not even going to be sure if he knows if one of them is ill as they can self isolate in their room, but then they share certain common rooms, so surely they have to tell the rest of the household?

It was the full household to self isolate. They have to make sure they wash everything before use etc and only one person in a room at a time.

Thanks Munch, he has been doing all of that, although not doing one room as a time, as no one has said they have it and he is not sure someone is going to announce they are, so he is doing the best he can to keep himself safe and just go from there.
