Parents are swanning around like there is nothing wrong, despite being late 70's early 80's and one of them being immunosupressed and refuse all help with shopping etc and likely to become seriously ill. In Laws are massively at risk due to health issues and having carers in each day, cant do their own shopping and rely on us/other family to provide their online shopping, daily shopping, household repairs such as bulbs needing replacing or they cant see properly etc. Daughter has the virus but cannot book an online shop, trying to work from home as she wont receive sick pay whilst trying to care for her children at the same time. Another Daughter's working hours have been reduced and may need support with finances. Son is self-employed and really should be self-isolating due to health issues but wont/cant and will continue working his trade until he has symptoms and may need finacial support. Youngest daughter has been deemed the saviour of the company and will remain office bound as she has no partner/children and they dont have a laptop so that she can work at home. Husband is public facing and no doubt will catch it sooner or later, no sick pay. I am in a role where I cannot work from home and am expected to continue as normal/work additonal hours in a public facing role whilst many in the organisation can work from home. All I can do is practice good hygiene and hope that I dont catch it so that I can support my whole family emotionally, physically and financially where required.
