Given the incubation period can be longer than that, this means that many of the overwhelming wave of cases there were already infected at this point, and they will be here too.
Every day that passes without further social distancing increases the number of people here infected who will form the type of crisis we are seeing there.
Particularly thinking of those at higher risk of needing a hospital bed who judging from other threads are laughing it off. They probably in large numbers already have it and their fate is set.
