Does anyone know? I'm either totally incapable of googling effectively or it hasn't been announced?

It is usually before 5pm

TeddyIsaHe · 17/03/2020 13:10

Around 4pm-5pm I think.

Wolfiefan · 17/03/2020 13:12

It’ll be “Burble Burble. People will die. Not going to lie. Wash hands. Oh Happy Birthday.”
They seem incapable of any clear and sensible directive.

Bufferingkisses · 17/03/2020 13:12

I think it's not the PM today, it's someone talking about the support package they are rapidly putting together.

Bufferingkisses · 17/03/2020 13:16

Rishi Sunak! Sorry mind blank there!

Kattish · 17/03/2020 13:19

4:45 I think

Daisydoesnt · 17/03/2020 13:25

Its the chancellor of the exchequer today (or so Boris said it would be yesterday). He'll be talking about plans to help small businesses and low earners.

DishingOutDone · 17/03/2020 13:25

Financial chappie today. I WFH anyway, so always around to see it, its become a bit of a high point ....!

cjt110 · 17/03/2020 13:27

So if it's the chancellor, there's going to be no change to what we are doing/not doing?

ClashCityRocker · 17/03/2020 13:38

Probably no new measures. Maybe a bit of clarity (hah!).

But hopefully an announcement of some sort of financial packages to help businesses and workers.

neverenoughwipes · 17/03/2020 14:04

Thanks, I didn't know it wasn't going to be BoJo! As far as we know, are they taking it day by day in terms of further measures then?

It'll be good to have a financial update, DH is having many a sleepless night at the moment

Looks like it will now be both of them.

lubeybooby · 17/03/2020 16:44

bbc news just said 'about 15 minutes'

Loppy10 · 17/03/2020 16:45

Yesterday's conference was a disgrace. Left you more confused than when they started. Mixed messages about who needs to completely isolate for 12 weeks, difference between discouraging social mixing and strongly discouraging it, unclear timelines for 7/14 day household isolation. Hope today's one is clearer

NoMorePoliticsPlease · 17/03/2020 16:47

@Wolfiefan
Not Helpful

Wolfiefan · 17/03/2020 16:51

No @NoMorePoliticsPlease.
You’re right.
He isn’t.
Bumbling twit.

DrSheldonCooperPHD · 17/03/2020 16:58

I thought @Wolfiefan was pretty spot on
