DH thinks i should antibac my hands every time I sneeze at home

We had an argument this morning about this. (Not getting on well so it's any excuse to argue sadly) but DH thinks I should wash my hands or anti bac every time I sneeze when I'm our own home.
I have allergies & poor sinuses so I'm always sneezing. I don't anti bac after I've sneezed at home as my hands would be raw plus I don't have that much hand sanitiser or the time when looking after my 1 year old.
I do obviously take more care when out & about. My point being that my DH & toddler would surely catch any germs I have living with me anyway? Am I right or wrong?

If one of you has d and v do the other two get it? Hopefully not as I assume that you practice good hygiene and hand washing.
Same thing.

@bemoreeverything and you sound lovely!

My DH & I kiss, this passes germs.
I breastfeed my little one, he gives me open mouthed saliva ridden kisses. This also passes germs.

Are these classed as disgusting too?

I'm being realistic. It's bike to sneeze into your hands and not wash them.

I'm not talking about breastfeeding or kissing, please don't suggest I am making a comparison, I didn't mention either of those things. Don't use them to try and justify manky habits though.

It's pretty gross and I'd be telling my partner to wash their hands too

bemoreeverything · 17/03/2020 14:10

Bike? VILE.

ImfinallyaMummy · 17/03/2020 14:20

@bemoreeverything I'm not justifying anything. Perhaps read through my posts before you get defensive ☺️
I sneeze in a tissue (to save you time reading)

My point being that if one of us gets something then all 3 of us normally gets it as we are a tactile family, whether I sneeze or not 🤷🏻‍♀️

You should do that anyway, regardless of CV

bemoreeverything · 17/03/2020 14:36

Fuck OP, I'm sorry. I actually read your post completely wrong. Call me some bad names and ignore my posts. I'm sorry.

EverydayLife · 17/03/2020 14:39

Yes wash your hands! Sneezing into a tissue doesn’t usually work anyway in terms of catching all the spray and snot.

EverydayLife · 17/03/2020 14:39

And I would have said that pre-virus.

Spam88 · 17/03/2020 14:46

My main issue here would be you using hand gel at home, where you presumably have access to soap and water.
