Likely to be ear infection right? But how am I going to get him help??

Can I call the doctors? as they say all new temperatures must go through 111. Am I going to have to do that? What will they say if 111 decide it’s not covid-19? He had a temp last Monday for a couple of days and we isolated him for 7 days, the advice at the time. He’s been fine and that ended Sunday. He was happy yesterday with no temp.

I’m just worried if it is an ear infection and it’s just left it will damage his hearing? How lo g do I leave it or do I phone drs or 111? Please advise, I’m worried.

Power through and ignore the guidance. This sounds like a ruptured eardrum. Even if it's not, it needs attention right away.

I would ring your doctors and maybe they could do a telephone consultation.
Does sound like an ear infection
I hope you can get some help

I'd phone your GP and stress the bleeding from the ear and ask for advice.

Agree it sounds like a burst eardrum and needs seeing, phone the GP, you may have to have a phone consultation before they make an appointment.

Thanks for the replies. I’ll call the GP when they reopen at 2pm and hope they understand that very unlikely to be corona. Hope they can do a consultation over the phone.
