Hey,

I’m 31, I have PCOS, and suffer with anxiety. I’m on high blood pressure medication.

Since reading this .... www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-guidance-on-social-distancing-and-for-vulnerable-people/guidance-on-social-distancing-for-everyone-in-the-uk-and-protecting-older-people-and-vulnerable-adults ..... It doesn’t really say anything about high blood pressure only chronic heart disease, but other Things I’ve read on the net have mentioned high blood pressure and to be extremely careful if going outside.

My anxiety is reaching its max now and I feel tense and scared, I’ve got this week off work, but start back next Tuesday.

Just wondering what the hell I should do and if others are in the same boat.

Thanks guys. Be safe

I never use mumsnet but found you when googling this same issue!
"According to a study of 44,000 patients in China with coronavirus nearly 13 per cent had hypertension or high blood pressure"
I have a pal that works in virology and she said it will probably fall under heart issues in many cases, but that high blood pressure as a stand alone guideline would wipe out so many working adults that they won't have wanted to include this yet.
NOT OK
My mum will be isolating. I linked up all the studies for her to send to her work.

According to a study of 44,000 patients in China with coronavirus nearly 13 per cent had hypertension or high blood pressure" So many of the over 60s have high blood pressure that I wouldn't be surprised if 13% of the non-coronavirus patients had high blood pressure.

The reports I've seen suggest that high blood pressure is an extra risk, but not as major as the other things that are mentioned.

Thank you. It’s good to know people are thinking the same things as me, and I’m not going mental.

Fingers crossed for everyone.
