Anyone know what Children and Family Centres are doing?

Or is that down to individual councils? Anyone heard anything?

My support worker had heard nothing at all last week. We only have 6/7 confirmed cases in the county ATM. I’d assumed if schools close they will follow, but if schools have to stay open...?

Business as usual, friend is a social worker, has a temperature of 38.9 and has been told to take paracetamol and get her arse in

WTF! Wow :( so she will be going into potentially vulnerable people’s homes...?

But I guess kids in danger are even more so if isolated.

Staff all seem to have laptops and work phones though, specifically so they can be mobile and hotdesk etc, so I don’t really see why WFH at least part of the time isn’t an option. Confidentiality?

I asked today at the children’s centre and the early help team are continuing as normal so far. Some staff off for SI rules. Cancelled one session due to lack of staff and participants and apparently HVs are cutting out things like development checking and only doing baby clinic type stuff
