I have asthma. I have been taking sensible precautions however, the new guidelines recommended stringent social distancing.
I work in the public sector. Am able to wfh generally and do often when I need to.
However I also share an office with about 100 other people all sat on banks of desks pretty much shoulder to shoulder.
Not to mention members of the public and other people for meetings.
So, I have emailed my manager to ask about wfh while still meeting the needs of the service.
I've worked it out and its perfectly doable.
But they have a very "keep calm and carry on business as usual" mindset. I'm dreading it.

Nothing to be nervous about. You put your health first

Received an email last night. We've to go in as normal today while they figure out a policy for home working.
Though it only talks about those with symptoms not with underlying conditions.
