Could my son just have a cough?

That really. My 6yr old DS has had a cough for the last 5 days. No temperature, no other symptoms and perky. But fairly constant cough. Could it be CV without the fever?
We are all self isolating now but I’m terrified I’m going to get it just as cases surge. And I’m a single parent on my own with underlying medical history. Could it be CV with only one symptom or (fingers crossed) it’s unlikely?

It could be.

We don't really know much about mild cases, as the only test is for he phase when the disease is active, and even in the places where they test most readily, they aren't doing it that widely.

One day (hopefully soon) there will be a test to find out if you have developed immunity.
