DH at risk category, DS in nursery, I’m a teacher!

Following the new guidance I was hoping somebody may have a clearer idea of what is about to happen.

DH is diabetic so will need to social distance now and very soon stay at home for 12 weeks. This part is very clear however, it becomes muddled when you add in DS attending nursery and me teaching. Surely we will be quite likely to bring Coronavirus home with us?

Do we pull DS out of nursery and I go off sick? Does DH fully self isolate in the second bedroom for 12 weeks? Any ideas welcome.....

You ALL stay home

I believe the instruction is for the whole household to isolate

The actual guidance on the gov.uk site says that he social distances (and presumably can therefore look after your child if you’d prefer they don’t go to nursery !)
You can still go to work unless you develop symptoms or a member of your family does.
The health minister clearly stated that people can still work even if they are social distancing

He’s not supposed to be self isolating. He’s supposed to be social distancing
These are two different things with different implications for the family
If he is symptomatic then self isolation with family isolation comes into play

My DH is in a higher risk group. He is working from home but we have 3 kids at school/college and I work in a school. We have decided to take our kids out of school/college as of this Friday. We are also sleeping separately.
