Coles will only allow the elderly and vulnerable to order online deliveries in order to ensure that their needs are taken care of
Woolworths has a dedicated one hour per day when only the elderly and vulnerable can shop. It’s first thing in the morning when the shelves are fully stocked. They also have care packages available at customer service with those basic items that are in short supply and the elderly and vulnerable can collect these at any point during the day.
Let’s hope we see similar action in the UK

Iceland have implemented an early shopping period for the elderly. I think it might be nationwide. It’s a good idea. Just hope it’s policed well and not abused
