For a long arranged appointment.

Tried ringing this evening and the bit I wanted was shut, but lady on the phone just confirmed the appointment .

The phone lines do not open till 9am, I'll already have to be on a train by then to get there on time I'd the appointment is going ahead.

Kind of confused as to what to do?
WWYD?

Have you had a look at the hospital website? Happy to do a search if you know which one it is.

I work in a hospital. As it stands (or did when I left tonight!) we are still doing routine appointments but asking patients as they arrive if they have any symptoms, if they do they are being advised to go home...but things are changing daily.

If they haven’t contacted you to cancel and you are heathy i would attend

Eastman is a part of UCLH. It looks to me as if it’s business as usual unless you have symptoms.

I loosely work with this hosp (very loosely) and have checked my intranet for information as we would be told if it was closing.

At present it all clinical staff seem to be business as usual unless they have symptoms.

I know you’d have to leave anyway but if possible call from the train so at least if you have to turn back it’s not at the actual destination

Good luck. Smile

The Eastman is a dental hospital not a general hospital, so it's not like they will be treating patients with COVID-19 in the building. I doubt they will have cancelled the appointment so I guess the decision is up to you.
