Anyone else hearing more ambulance sirens at the moment?

Fewer sirens than normal around here - I wonder if it's because fewer are being sent out to non-CV cases so the hypochondriacs around here aren't getting their taxi to A&E ...

I noticed this a few days ago. I’m in an area where there’s police sirens all through the night and day. All of a sudden there’s loads of ambulances though. There were two in the next street yesterday morning

Less traffic means you hear them more. More Coronapanic means you notice the ones you hear more.

I think I've noticed less (I live near three major hospitals).

For a little while many people will be holding off phoning an ambulance where previously they might have called one for less serious stuff.

Sadly this trend will likely be reversed soon as more people genuinely need support.

No. Fewer if anything. My dog goes beserk if he hears one, so we notice.

I work in an acute hospital and A&E is much quieter at present. People don't want to come to hospital unless they have to. I guess there might be more ambulances and less walking wounded!

Far fewer here, we're on the main route to the local hospital and near the Ambulance Station so hear quite a lot, but the last couple of days have been surprisingly quiet.
