Unless you have serious illness try GP at Hand

Just a plug for the NHS GP at Hand app (Babylon), to avoid any need to visit GP. Teach your elderly family to use if they can. If you have repeat prescriptions, regular health appointments they are really good and you can usually get an appointment within an hour, to take place over the phone or video call. I'm pregnant and have used the service for advice as well as prescriptions which I then get delivered.

Only live in London and Birmingham atm as far as I can see

Don't take business away from the GPs! They and the NHS need our support more than ever.

Hurtheart · 16/03/2020 19:44

BTW the MN forum voted against MN HQ working with Babylon. Think it was advertising etc.

Zacharyezrarawlings · 16/03/2020 19:47

hurtheart I can very much assure you that GPs will be very grateful for "business" (ie unwell patients) to be directed elsewhere right now. They are not exactly sitting in their surgeries with nothing to do!

EasterEggz · 17/03/2020 11:55

Exactly. Also, GP at hand is a free NHS app - they are GP's!
