If you are low risk and it was likely that you would be immune and unable to carry the virus afterwards

You'd be contributing to herd immunity, helping to protect more vulnerable members of society. Two weeks self isolation and then you'd be able to carry on with your life again.

If be tempted.

No, maybe when I was single and childless and I was being paid a decent amount!

Grufallosfriends · 16/03/2020 14:08

No because in China and Italy even relatively young people (in their 30s and 40s) had to be treated in intense care! Not a risk I'd take willingly!

Also, we don't know whether you will definitely become immune. The virus may also mutate so you could catch it again.

This is such a new unknown virus that I'd rather not willingly be exposed to.

Yes, if they promised us first dibs on ventilator and critical care beds. Currently as it stands, unlikely.

I would if I was on my own.
Dc3 is asthmatic so couldn’t.

No I’m a lone parent though so definitely no

I would if I didn’t have ds, but I’m a single mum and he needs me.

Part of me wants to catch it though, get it over and done with and get on with life Hmm
