This is to those who are OK, who have savings, a full cupboard and will get paid sick.
How can we help?
Keep paying your cleaner, childminder, gardener etc. That's what responsible people do.
If you're a landlord, can you get a mortgage holiday and pass it on to your tenants?
Donate to food banks, don't take more than you need.
Any other ideas? We are in this together.

Look out for your vulnerable neighbours who may be unable to get to the shops so easily.

Nobody’s alright. Unless you have a ventilator in the loft

Confused The vast majority of people won't need ventilators and many will have mild symptoms, so yes, lots of people will be alright.

Good idea for a thread, OP. We're ok - not vulnerable groups, plenty of food in, dh will get paid (I won't, but he's the main earner).

We don't have a cleaner, gardener, childminder or tenants, but can give to food banks and keep an eye on how our elderly neighbours are doing.

Buy vouchers from local small businesses, donate to the trussell trust, buy big issues and don’t take your change, don’t panic buy even if you can afford to, set up whatsapp groups for up or street and ask if people need help

That sounds good, Howcanwehelp.
