Should I be working from home?

I'm 19 weeks pregnant with a high risk pregnancy - two previous premature deliveries which my consultant thinks was due to infection. I work part time and can do my work from home with no impact. It was mentioned to me last week that my employers "think" I should be working from home but they were going to wait to see what was announced after the Cobra meeting on Thursday. My manager had left by the time the announcement had been made and nothing was mentioned about home working anyway.

I've emailed my manager and my union to see what I should do but I've had no response from either. I'm due in work tomorrow and I don't know what is best to do. I can't just decide to work from home without my employer agreeing.

Has anyone seen any official advice on this?
