Coronavirus - homeschooling support thread!

Just wanted to add a thread for those of us who are improvised homeschoolers due to this virus. My ten year olds haven't been at school since 14th February as they were off sick even before schools closed!! I would love to say that it is all going swimmingly but it is really hard to get them to do the (rather boring) homework that is being set so would appreciate any advice on motivation, getting organized, routines etc.

I thought this resource might be good for those homeschooling. You could do some colouring and discuss the piece of work, artist and history.
Download free colouring books from 113 musuems.

Anyone else here have twins in reception (age 5) now at home for the foreseeable future during the crisis?

Given that it's taken my friends with singletons pretty much the whole day (on and off) to do the work sent to them, I'm anticipating it will take me 2 days to do one days work with twins!
Anyone else in the same boat?
Also, do I approach one task at a time with each child? Hard with twins.
It was a free for all at the kitchen table this morning and gave me a headache!

Just looking for someone else who can relate :)
Thanks

Yes - mine are twins too (albeit older ones) and I had put them in separate classes so they get given completely different homework. Big mistake! Actually since I started this thread homeschooling has really gone to pot here....sigh....
