Visiting fit and healthy but 70+ parents

My parents are pretty fit and healthy but mid-70's so higher risk. Presumably if government announce the official 70+ lockdown we will need to stay away, but what about over the coming few days/weeks before any such Announcement - is it too risky? No symptoms or reason to believe I've been anywhere high risk or exposed but of course you never know!

It looks like there won't be a full lockdown, just advice that over 70s should avoid large social events and limit their trips out (but not stop seeing family altogether).

In any case though I totally share your concern and am dithering about whether I should see my 78-year-old father, who lives on his own and is in reasonable but not amazing health. I live in London and commute by tube so am definitely at risk of catching the virus. Aargh!
