Cough and fever but still going to college!

My DD has been speaking to her friend who has been feeling unwell the past few days.
DD's friend has a cough and is feeling hot but she has told my DD she still has plans to be in college tomorrow!
She needs to follow the guidelines but is refusing to!
DD doen't know what to do and rightly so think that it's selfish of her friend!

There's nothing she can do really, except tell a member of staff.

She needs to inform the college, bloody selfish. But some people are. My friends husband has been in bed all weekend with temperature between 39 and 40 degrees.111 said self isolate but she is going to work at the local.uni and sending her ds to school. Fucking selfish.

@TheoriginalLEM did they tell him to self isolate or the whole family? I thought they hadn't started telling whole families yet if not symptomatic

They’ll probably get sent home the first time they cough, they are in our college
