This is a possibility still.. does that mean I won't be able to visit my elderly mother during that time? She lives on her own and is in her 80s.. What if she falls over or something? I'm feeling quite scared now.

Pretty sure individuals can still visit but rules will be to stay 2 metres apart. And it's up to 4 months so could be less.

"Mr Hancock told Andrew Marr people without symptoms would still be able to visit older relatives and friends so long as they stayed two metres - or six feet - apart from them.

All the UK deaths from the virus so far have been among people aged over 60 or with underlying health conditions."
