Sobering reading

That's the daily mirror and I wouldn't believe it if it told me to use it as toilet paper. Or the sun. Or the daily mail.

TheCanterburyWhales · 15/03/2020 18:09

Yes, on all Italian news programmes today. Continuous contact with people who were not known to have it being cited as how he was infected.

PNomintrude · 15/03/2020 18:15

Oh no Sad. How awful for his family. So so sad for all those who have lost their lives. It seems particularly unfair that people working to care for others are disproportionately at risk.

Awful horrible danger of being front line health services

FrankiesKnuckle · 15/03/2020 18:43

Worrying reading.

I'm a front line paramedic too, our trust are running out of masks/PPE.
The public are no longer being tested.
Pretty much all calls now are ?covid.
The usual idiots are calling us for every little sniffle and minor ailment.
We are drowning in demand and the real patients are waiting several hours for ambulances.
111 are taking hours to do call backs because of demand so that tends to have a knock on effect to us.
Pretty fucking scared to go into work tbh.
