Are there any job losses yet?

I keep thinking about friends and how literally everyone is going to soon be in the shit financially. Friends in travel industry, ones that work on cruise ships, ones in retail and food, ones in marketing and media, ones that manage live events. If we get through this, what on earth is going to be left of the country we know?

Has anyone’s work said anything yet about how they will survive this uncertain period?

I was in Dunelm today and the lady said all their hours had been cut. I’m in retail too but no changes at the moment.

We are talking to staff tomorrow just to give them the heads up it may happen. Hoping not but also not enough money in the bank to pay next months pay. This month is okay and our forward invoicing is massive but that doesn’t mean they’ll pay.
