Wwyd? Overdue and considering keeping DS3 off nursery this week!

I am currently 40 +5 weeks pregnant and due to be induced next Sunday. My DS goes to nursery 3 mornings a week and we are wondering whether it might be sensible to keep him off this week?

My DH works for a small independent company , walks to work and will be having no face to face meetings this week.

Our DS however will be in contact with a larger majority of people going into a nursery setting.

I'm worried if we catch it this week (or show symptoms)...I may have to face going in to have this baby on my own. I am sick with worry at the thought of this and wondering whether taking him out of his nursery settings for this week will limit our chances of this happening?

What would you do?! help SadSad

How horrible for you. I’m 19 weeks and terrified about what might happen in the next few months.

If it was me in this situation I would take DS out of nursery. You’re so close now and in my opinion it’s not worth the risk.

Good luck and keep us posted Flowers

I would, but I'm one of life's worriers.

I'd keep him off. It'll be nice for him to have some extra one to one time with you before the baby arrives too.

I'd keep him off too

I would definitely keep him off
