Turning body lotion into hand moisturiser
GetUpAgain · 15/03/2020 07:49
I have tons of body lotion and butter, I seem to be given it at Christmas etc and never get round to using it.
I feel like it should be easy to make this into nice thick hand cream by letting some of it evaporate. Or adding something (like cornflour?). Has anyone already tried this?

I would just use it as it is, or melt some she's butter and mix it in if you want it to be thicker.
I wouldn't thicken with cornflour.

No need to add anything. Moisturisers moisturise, no matter which part of the body they claim to have been developed for.

Just use it as it is, it’s doing the same job as a moisturiser!

Thanks, I know it does the same thing I just prefer thicker cream to runny stuff. Might order some shea butter.
