Right now, due home in 10 days, would you be trying to get back sooner? Also, aged early 70s.

It makes a huge difference that they own their own house there, and it's quite rural. Not sure they'd navigate an online shopping system though.

Yes, I would want to be closer to family and familiarity personally. However if happy enough there and confident healthcare would be fully accessible if God forbid it's needed then I'd stay and chance it.

I have friends about to head out there, elderly. Own a home rurally. There are more hospital beds per person in France. And they will be self isolating out there. I think it's a wise move.

I think they're better off staying put. They've had cause to access healthcare before, following an accident, and it was really first class treatment received.

Just need to work out how to access medication.
