What happens if I pull DD out of school?

Basically that. I’m a little concerned about how many mums on here have said someone’s tested positive at their child’s school and it’s remained open. It’s in a school not far from us and my DH and I were talking about what we’d do if it hits my DD’s school. I said I’d pull her out. But what would happen if we did? I don’t know the protocol for just whipping your kid out like that.

If schools aren’t told to close it would be an unauthorised absence, although for a week or two you could probably get away with saying your self isolating but that wouldn’t provide a long term solution

Chances of you finding out if there’s a case at school are slim as they’re not testing. Unless someone ends up in hospital with it you’re not going to know.
