Are the UK no longer testing mild cases so all the numbers we get of test results will be the severe cases that are hospitilised?

In that case as we only have 20 severe cases at the moment in hospital, we will have much lower numbers. My concern is if the numbers are still high that implies more serious cases.

I was taking some comfort in the figures assuming a lot would be mild cases but this will throw a different light on things if the numbers still go up rapidly

How do you propose to massively expand the number of cintainment labs and get the suitabkymqualilab techs to staff them?

This is rationing by capacity, not because anyone is after less reliable figures. The public statements are very clear on this.

They need to test the cases where the reunited makes a difference immediately (isolating the patient, not putting them in an open part of a hispital).

If you think the current prioritisation is wrong, how wouid you change it, bearing in mind that there are a finite number of tests that can be safely run?

There is a difference between 'can't' and 'won't'. When at capacity, it's 'can't' do more, need to re-prioritise.
