Childcare if nurseries and schools close

Just thinking ahead here and worried that people will start using vulnerable grandparents more for childcare in this event.
My own mum and MIL look after DC 4 hours a week each and I'm considering putting a stop to it although they're both still going to work so I don't know how much good it would do.
If your nursery or school closed down would you welcome a babysitting group with the other mums and dads or would you rather keep dc at home? Would it even be possible for you to keep dc at home?
